Merry Christmas Indeed! RUTF Arriving Today!

We are super excited to announce that our shipping container of “Ready-To-Use Therapeutic Food” (RUTF) is arriving in the Port of Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of Congo today, just in time for Christmas!

These life-saving food packages will save approximately 739 severely malnourished children under the age of 5.  Our partner, World Vision will be distributing the RUTF through its community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition Programs (CMAM) via their in-patient treatment programs in three health centres.

A huge thank you going out to Billy Vandekerkhove of Super Save Group for their $100,000 donation to sponsor a total of two shipping containers.  The second shipping container is set to arrive in South Sudan mid-January.  Thank you Billy for your heart-warming generosity and support!
